Curriculum, teaching and exams

Get the most out of your studies
Our study programs offer a unique blend of theoretical learning with practical experiences, excursions, and adventures, adding context and depth to the curriculum.
All courses feature mandatory lectures and seminars, but you maintain control over most of your schedule.
As a student, you'll balance reading, assignments, and exams with leisure, social activities, and exploration.
Establishing good study habits early on is key to maximizing academic benefits and avoiding last-minute stress. This approach allows you ample time to enjoy and explore the culture in your study location.

Assessments and exams
The format and number of assessments vary across our study programs.
In collaboration with OsloMet University, students undertake a group exam near the end of the 10-week teaching period and submit an individual take-home exam three weeks after teaching ends.
Spanish Studies and Business Management include school exams towards the end of the 16-to-19-week teaching period.
During the teaching period, you'll encounter some quizzes and assignments but generally face fewer assessments than you did in high school.
