Buenos Aires seen through local eyes
Our local manager Lucia Correa describes the wonderful city of Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city, a place where history and modernity coexist in a unique way.

It’s a city full of life, known for its rich culture, iconic architecture, and the warm hospitality of its people.
Each neighborhood has its own personality—from the colorful streets of La Boca to the bohemian vibes of San Telmo and the elegant charm of Recoleta.

The city is renowned for its incredible variety of cultural offerings, including theaters, dance performances, live concerts, and art exhibitions. It truly never sleeps, with something exciting happening at any hour of the day or night.
Personally, I love enjoying meals at traditional parrillas and bodegones with friends and family. These gatherings often turn into long discussions about politics—one of Argentina’s favorite pastimes! Buenos Aires also has a fascinating café culture, and I recommend exploring its many cafés notables.

There’s nothing better than sitting down for a coffee and a medialuna (a traditional Argentinian croissant) while soaking in the unique atmosphere of these historic spots.
When I want to escape the energy of the city, I head to Tigre, just an hour away. Surrounded by nature, the delta offers a peaceful contrast to the urban jungle of Buenos Aires—a perfect place to relax and connect with the outdoors.
